Be In a Rush To Save Those In Despair

From today’s reading...

“When the court officers had brought the Apostles in

and made them stand before the Sanhedrin,

the high priest questioned them,

‘We gave you strict orders did we not,

to stop teaching in that name.’”

Pete and the crew said…

“Ahh, yeah...ahhh, no. Not gonna happen.”

Once you’re filled with the Holy Spirit there is no stopping you.

Once you know the truth there is no stopping you.

When you speak the truth you don’t need a good memory.

When should you water down the truth?

When should you “dial it down a notch” when you see the world drowning in lies?

If you were drowning in the ocean would you want your friends to quietly saunter over to the lifeguard stand and patiently await their turn to speak with the lifeguard who is flirting with another swimmer then calmly point to your general vicinity and ask, if it’s not too much trouble or too much of an inconvenience, to maybe consider heading your way to see if you need some help?

Peter and the Apostles knew we were all sleeping on the roof of a burning building and they had no problem banging pots and pans in the street at 2 A.M. to make everyone know their lives were at risk.

Who is silencing you?

Why are you allowing it?

Why are you afraid of the truth?

Why are you afraid to speak the truth?

Be not afraid to speak the truth because speaking it is the only way to...

Stay the course.

Keep the faith.

Endure.
