Rural development is real development

The International Organization for Educational Development “IOED” https://www.ioed.in/ is an International/ Intergovernmental fully accredited permanent diplomatic mission established under a charter and constitutional protocol, having special Extraterritorial Status based upon the International Convention of Vienna on 18th April 1961 & 1963 concerning Diplomatic and Consular Relations and connected with the States and Organizations through HQ Agreements. Headquarters of the IOED is in the capital city of India, Delhi. The IOED is responsible for dealing with developmental issues, particularly diplomatic relations, educational development (research & training), cultural relationship, economic cooperation and security – the main drivers of development. Its work can be summed up in three words: think, debate, and deliver.

Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) are the key drivers for economic growth and human development. A greater emphasis should be given on promoting traditional knowledge system, developing indigenous technologies and encouraging grass root innovation. The emergence of disruptive and impactful technologies poses new challenges and simultaneously greater opportunities. The COVID-19 pandemic provided a compelling opportunity for Research and Development (R&D) institutions, academia and industry to work in unison for sharing of purpose, synergy, collaboration and cooperation.

Rural and sub-urban areas are the real face of each & every nation as it represents largest population. It is important to engage the rural youth in a productive way in tandem with their aspirations by providing them credible opportunities for growth and wellbeing. But in the globalized area, firms and industries demand for more skill workers. Therefore, it is right time to hone on these skills and train the youth through skilling, reskilling and upskilling technologically to meet the future requirements. Entrepreneurial programs provide an excellent opportunity to connect education systems with the local economy because they are based on specific activities and projects and on the voluntary participation of real entrepreneurs. All the scientists and technologists should work in appropriate reason, specifically the rural technology, to transform rural sector.

Employable quality education in the field of paramedical, professional and technical studies are being provided with the valuable support of IOED’s partner institutions (government and private). Tuition fee is exempted for candidates who belong to the economically weaker sections of the society on production of valid certificate.
