On 11th February 2022, we joined the 5KM Cancer Walk exercise, in support of the World Cancer Month initiative to #closethecaregap for cancer, organized by the Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre.?

It was exciting to see other organizations participate in this and share their excitement towards this collaborative effort to improve cancer care in Nigeria. And speaking of collaborations, a new and amazing package has been brooding in the production pipeline and is now out in the showcase: Rupe Flexi Health!

Rupe Flexi Health

29th October 2021 marked the agreement signing and official launch of the Rupe Flexi Health initiative. This is a partnership that involves mDoc, Roche, and Sterling Bank to provide financial and virtual self-care support to women and men living with breast cancer in Nigeria. Now the Rupe Flexi Health is live, with Lakeshore Cancer Center as the first specialized cancer facility in this partnership, and more to join.

We know that breast cancer can be very stressful for you and your family. The Rupe Flexi Health program aims to relieve some of that burden in two ways: by helping qualifying patients access the comprehensive care plan prescribed by their healthcare provider, through an innovative financing mechanism, and by providing a supportive digital self-care support service powered by mDoc.
