#RunningThoughts v2.8 - Footprint of Courage

“…need to put footprint of courage into stirrup of patience.” - Sir Ernest Shackleton

Following my last post, I was thrilled to hear that many of you were encouraged to keep creating and developing new products and propositions even in the face of the pandemic. Crisis and adversity are not new; we have met them before and we will meet them again. In these times, we seek optimism, patience and courage, but many of you asked me how to know when the time is right to be brave or wait.

There’s no easy answer for all, yet as the world now navigates these uncharted waters I was inspired by this quote from Sir Ernest Shackleton that inspires us to press on, stiffen our resolve and hold our heads high. I hope they do the same for you. You may have to practice patience and decide whether to take the offence or defence right now, but it is always best to stay in the game.
