Running with a wounded heart.
Stephen Morley
Identifying and overcoming barriers to inclusion. through the use of accessibility audits, consultancy services and training that explores sometimes, difficult subjects around equality, diversity and belonging.
In November 2010, I had a Heart Attack while I was competing in a local race. As you can see, I lived to tell the tale and in 2012 I wrote a short e-book about my running both before and after my little cardiac adventure. It was my first real attempt at writing and since it came from the heart (no pun intended) it didn't turn out too bad. I had yet to learn the craft of writing but my intention was pure and so on the whole people found the book readable and hopefully entertaining. Six years on I have written a sequel to be published soon.
If any of my LinkedIn friends would like to read the Preface, feel free to email: [email protected] and I'll send the short sample.
Let me know if you would like it as a Word.doc, PDF, EPUB or MOBI format.
