It's graduation season; all graduates of all ages in all parts of the world deserve their moment to celebrate, to be proud, to be a source of nachas, to have and cause some anxiety. Parents just want their kids to grow up and accumulate the the tools to succeed, to soar...they know the day is coming to separate on some level, but it still seems sudden and there's always a tightening in the throat, at least a little bit.
Feeling that tightening, that worry, that empathy for another's situation should equalize us, make us think about our actual behaviors and habits. In all aspects of our lives, we need to think about why we are doing what we are doing.
What are the best ways to absorb insights, data, and information? Clearly, there's a huge delta between people's self-perception and their perception of the world at large -
I would love to hear your hypothesis on what's actually going on in people's minds (over and above - 'well, people are full of contradictions, biases, and hypocrisy - that was easy') - I think what's happening in housing may be a bit of a clue - look how much wealth has been created:

Threads and memes have become a kind of currency; a reflection of what your interests are, where your curiosity leads you, how you respond when there's a gap in your knowledge.
