Rum-tastically August at Kempinski Seychelles Resort

As Captain Jack Sparrow would state, ‘Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate’.

At Kempinski Seychelles Resort, this statement is our pledge—the bliss of sipping an exquisite cocktail with your feet in the sand while listening to the sound of the waves is priceless. Should you be the fearless Blackbeard or the intrepid La Buse, we have planned a rum-tastic month of August for you to enjoy at our resort. Our talented crew of barmen, Dino, Ricardo, Jeffri and Sefa, under the command of Captain Shekar, have concocted some exceptional mixtures for the so-called pirates of Baie Lazare.

Four delicious and original cocktails will be proposed: La Buse Treasure, where the star fruit is the highlight; Captain Jack Sparrow, with its original touch of black tea and cranberry; Spicy Ocean Swirl, with its unusual mix of Chamomile and Smoked Local Spice Bitters; and, of course, the Davy Jones’ Dark Delight, with a touch of chilli. However, the main brew for these four elixirs will be the magic potion that makes pirates notorious—the famous rum!

Our bartenders were thrilled to craft this special menu to mark the International Month of Pirates. ‘We are very lucky to be situated in Baie Lazare, a place full of history, especially with Lazare Picault, the French explorer who landed on our beach. Our desire as pirates is to offer our guests cocktails with character and zest. With the ingenuity of the team, it was so much fun to try different cocktails with our local rum, which is distilled not far from our resort, at La Plaine St. André’, shared Shekhar Korajkar, our Restaurant & Bar Manager.

This unique cocktail menu will be served at Windsong Beach Restaurant during the day and at Planter’s Lounge & Bar in the evening, accompanied by our daily live band to entertain you while you dream of adventures at sea, treasure chests buried somewhere around Seychelles, or simply savour the authentic rum made in Seychelles. Nonetheless, we promise you that it will be a moment to remember, and hopefully, you will discover the true meaning of the treasure of La Buse.
