Ruins of a Civilization called Office

In 2014 for a business travel, I took one of the longest flights of my professional and personal life. It was a 17.5-hour non stop Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong to Chicago. Though excited initially, I soon realized in the flight, what it takes to be confined in a closed environment so long. I introspected my entire life in this journey.
At the end of this journey, I just wondered that this probably the opportunity God gave me to reflect on my past and work towards my future and I was privileged to have got it.
FLASHFORWARD 2020
An Year I never imagined could go this way. Its a Deja Vu as I complete 25 days of lockdown. Its been 25 days of thoughtfulness, retrospective, flashback of my life and one thing which I have come to conclude is that POST COVID world, we are not going to experience the beauty of life which we all were privileged till the Year 2019.
One of such beauties we had is called "The Office". It was an purpose which motivated all of us to visit office on a Monday and feel sad on a Friday evening.
POST COVID, the world I see is a different altogether. The Office Space is either shrinking or is completely going to go in ruins . As I see snaps on social media of professionals successfully working remotely, I think the concept of an office is soon going to die. Will for sure be missing those cubicles, war rooms, Cafeteria, Snack points, Coffee time conversations with my friends and colleagues and most importantly passionate and emotional white boarding sessions leading to conflicts, agreements, discussions and finally topping it up with favorite coffee/tea.
The 4th Industrial Revolution has vanquished the office space. Do visit your office post COVID, before it ends up in Ruins.
