Be ruggedly handsome...
We live in a society where; although we don't want to, we kind of do... Judge.
How you walk, how you talk, how you present yourself, how you post on social media, dress-up, your connections or even your family background.
People around you may unintentionally label you. Perhaps it's a norm to have "opinions" about others or how things are in one's perspective.
When more and more people are in agreement with the label it becomes generalized. E.g. The Millennials as Lazy, unfocused, not willing to work hard and not loyal.
I came across this great YouTube video today from Goalcast featuring Rock Thomas and I believe it's a must share.
I have some experience working with a boss that's a little classical, like Rock Thomas's dad. Nothing you've ever did or done is good enough or worthy to mention.
Too much of that;
Sometimes you get to question yourself, are you good? Are you capable? Or are you really useless and unworthy to be in the team.
Don't get yourself caught up in that!...
I was lucky, very lucky indeed to have came across books like "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fu*k" and many other inspirational quotes or videos.
This had helped me to stand strong, look at him/er in the eye and just be "ruggedly handsome".
Program your mind today! You are who you think you Are! I am great! I am beautiful! I work hard! I am smart! I am the best of me!
Then...
Go get your greatness!

7 年To assess how we fare be it personal or work is through other people's affirmation of what we are. If not, syok sendiri pun ada. I like how you out it - go find your greatness, and stay ruggedly handsome. In my case, it might be "stay young".
