Rugged Monitoring in South Korea for EPEK 2024
What an event it was!! Rugged Monitoring had a great time exhibiting its monitoring prowess from June 12-14.?
EPEK is Korea’s leading next-generation electric industry show hosted by the Korea Electrical Corporation Association (KECA). KECA is the only electrical engineering organization in Korea. So this event is a venue for a feast of IoT-linked technologies of the future electricity and power industry.?
With so many companies vying for attention, Rugged Monitoring being the World’s First AI-enabled Asset Performance Management could easily make its space. This was a great chance for Rugged Monitoring to explore the most influential partnership opportunities in Korea’s electric industry by connecting with the best business network in Korea.?
From June 12th to 14th, Rugged Monitoring at EXCO attracted a steady flow of visitors throughout the three-day exhibition to increase awareness and open the possibility of providing customized monitoring solutions to foreign clients. Apart from showcasing and gaining insights, we developed a strengthened understanding of the South Korean market's specific needs and pain points.
Every event is a learning experience, and EPEK was no exception. Events like these not only help us build valuable connections, identify potential customers, and gain insights into emerging trends and technologies but also refine our approach to continue to deliver the best possible monitoring solutions.
Real-Time Temperature Monitoring in Motor Drives, VFD's
领英推荐
This blog explains how and why the real-time temperature monitoring of your motor drives, be it Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) or no VFD can help your system be safe from overheating. As the number of components in the equipment increases, there are more points of failure and there are mainly three modes of failure, which are, thermal, mechanical, and electrical.
Motor Drives and VFDs - These get super hot. If not well-monitored, they will overheat and shut down, costing valuable time in downtime. Therefore fiber optics is being used more and more widely. Compared to typical RTD/thermocouples or IR sensors, temperature monitoring technology using fiber optic cables is much more precise and provides continuous thermal evaluation.
This blog brings out some interesting benefits such as on-the-fly alarms whenever something goes wrong, and the right options for data-driven decisions for intelligent maintenance. So, if you’re into keeping your motor drives and VFDs in top shape, this blog is a must-read. Read the full blog here.
5 reasons to Adapt Fiber Optic Sensors in E-mobility Testing
It is no secret, that for the longest time thermocouples have long been the go-to for temperature testing during product design and End-of-Line stages. However, the industry is moving away from thermocouples due to safety risks and challenges like noise, linearity, or response time.?
With the rise of EVs, these drawbacks have become more eminent, seeking to take a shift to a better technology. So here is the buzz— Fiber Optic Temperature Sensor. This has recently been the game changer in e-mobility technology. Whether you're involved in product design, testing, or monitoring, fiber optic temperature sensors are emerging as the superior solution for eMobility testing.
Fiber optic sensors offer enhanced safety with no electrical interference, making them ideal for high-voltage environments. They are one of the most accurate options in terms of temperature readings, superior performance, faster responses, and increased reliability, making them perfect for modern EV testing purposes.
Want to know why these sensors are revolutionizing e-mobility applications?
