Ruby turns one

Well, COVID 19 and self-isolation isn't exactly how I envisaged the first anniversary of Ruby Recruit playing out. Paul and I have had quite a few discussions on how we would celebrate what has undoubtedly been one of the most exciting and emotional years in our recruitment careers. The plan was simple and looking something like this: hire a cool venue, stack up plenty of Bubbles and invite all the wonderful people who have helped make Ruby Recruit a success and spend some quality time saying thank you with a few smiles and laughs along the way.

The good news is with the way the New Zealand Government has handled our lockdown I have absolutely no doubt that Ruby’s first-anniversary bash will happen, and I think sooner than we expect. Don’t get me wrong, there’s no rush, only when we are all safe, free from risk and are well will we get things going, and it is the thought of spending a fun evening with you all that keeps Paul and I excited (and if you’re a social butterfly like me, let's face it we love recruitment because of its people, connection, and engagement!).
