RSCs and CSS Animations
Greetings and salutations, devs!
Do you use React?
If you do, and you’re hanging around in any space where other React devs are, you might have noticed that some folks are unhappy with it.
RSCs (React Server Components) have sown great feelings of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) across the ecosystem. Some people are frustrated and are writing their thoughts online.
Among them, a notable entry from Cassidy Williams has bred a series of discussions and posts by well-known open source maintainers, as well as other known dev YouTubers.
One post is titled: “React, where are you going?”.
However, on the other side of the spectrum are those who are trying to build a new mental model for better understanding RSCs with posts that state that RSCs = React Server + Component, and not React + Server Component.
Some don’t see what all the fuss is about, and Dan is just having a good time…
Right. This is fine.
Never a dull moment in web developer land ??.
Anyhow…let’s get to it!
