RSA Singapore 2017 - key takeaways

Firstly, I'd like to thank the 328 people who visited the Zscaler booth during RSA Singapore 2017. You likely participated in one of the 12 breakout presentations or met with the Zscaler team during the 3 days and engaged in conversations around security and digital transformation for your organisation.

I'd like to thank our partners BT and Singtel for their support and insightful presentations.

A few key takeaways from the many conversations:

  1. The castle and moat architecture of the past can't secure modern environments where users, devices and applications have moved off premise to untrusted networks.
  2. Security (managing) is becoming increasingly complex making it a fragile process to manage and update. The sheer volume of new threats makes it nearly impossible to patch and update frequently to stay protected
  3. Threats continue to propagate and target the end user (weakest link)
  4. Workloads shifting rapidly towards cloud either consumed as SaaS (i.e. SFDC or O365) or managed/hosted via public or private cloud

Zscaler manages the largest cloud security platform on the planet enabling organisations to transform their network and application architecture by shifting security off premise and closer to the user. This improves security, simplifies IT costs and ongoing management while driving down your TCO and improving user experience.

Thank you again to all who visited. The Zscaler team looks forward to speaking with you in the coming weeks.
