RS Round-Up 15 August: Supporting refugees in Dorset, our policy proposals for the UK and come and volunteer with us in Cyprus!
Refugee Support Europe
We want a world where all refugees can lead their lives with dignity
This week we share news of our work in the UK to support refugees arriving on the Bibby Stockholm barge, and what we think the UK should do for refugees. Plus, we are looking for volunteers for our Dignity Centre in Cyprus!
Ready to support in Dorset
The first people were moved to the Bibby Stockholm barge in Dorset last week, and we continue to stand in solidarity with all refugees and strongly oppose this act of performative cruelty. As you may have seen from the news, things are quite chaotic on the ground, but we remain ready to setup a humanitarian response that answers the evolving needs of those affected. Stay tuned for updates on our website or via your preferred social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, X - formerly Twitter)

Volunteer opportunities in Cyprus
From serving in the shop to writing CVs and supporting language lessons, there's never a dull moment for volunteers at our Dignity Centre in Nicosia.
We are currently in need of people to come and help in Cyprus throughout September and beyond. Apply now to volunteer for 2-4 weeks, all you need is a smile :)
