RRCU Celebrates Black History Month in Branches and in the Community

Financial institutions can play an important role in celebrating Black History Month. RRCU honored the month in its branches with displays and activities that highlight the rich heritage and achievements of African Americans. The displays included facts, images, and stories that commemorate the contributions of African Americans throughout history.

RRCU was able to participate in Black History Month parades in Shreveport and Texarkana. These parades were all about celebrating the lives and accomplishments of the African American community. RRCU’s presence in the parade is also a reminder of the importance of economic empowerment and financial literacy in the Black community.

RRCU is focused on racial equity and understanding the importance of Black History Month. By taking part in this celebration, RRCU is showing its commitment to diversity and inclusion and helping to create a more equitable and unified society.
