During our recent event, Advances in Bio-Automation, organised in collaboration with Nucleate UK and Bits in Bio , experts from various scientific fields gathered to network and learn from a panel of biotech innovators. The panel discussed the groundbreaking work being facilitated by lab automation in their companies and beyond.

The session emphasised the incredible potential of automation in advancing scientific research and commercialisation. It addressed practical challenges and offered effective implementation strategies for those considering lab automation.

The UK's first robotic genomic testing facility

We are excited to announce that The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and Automata have launched the UK's first robotic genomic testing facility for cancer patients!

This groundbreaking partnership doubles the lab's genomics testing capacity, providing quicker access to crucial tests for cancer diagnosis, risk assessment, and personalised treatment. By automating sample processing, scientists at The Royal Marsden can now concentrate on essential development work.
