Row, row, row your rowing machine...
As part of my ongoing midlife crisis, I have agreed to join a small number of athletes (guess the odd one out) from my gym, and will be taking part in a marathon row (that’s 42,195m on a rower) on Saturday 24th November to raise money and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support and the amazing work they do for patients and their families
For the avoidance of doubt, this is 42,195m each (oh if only it could be shared !)
This will be a seriously tough challenge, both mentally & physically, not to mention the dire need of cushioning, and is likely to take about 3-4 hours to complete.
