Roundstone
We help small to midsize companies confidently self-insure through our group captive & provide better health benefits.
Roundstone's office in Lakewood, Ohio was in the path of totality during the solar eclipse last week. The 365-degree sunset was phenomenal -- a moment I won't soon forget.
This idea of perfect alignment resonates with us for another reason, too.
We believe all the players in the healthcare ecosystem should stand in perfect alignment with the employer and their employees.?We believe in passing all savings on to the employer. We never earn commissions or fees from cost containment solution partners. Every recommendation we make is purely designed to deliver better outcomes for captive members.?
I'll be speaking at our webinar this week on how prioritizing alignment makes the Roundstone Captive different. I'd love to see you there.

The Value of In-House Underwriting to Your Plan
Whether you're considering a new policy or a renewal, there's something special about having personalized access to your insurance policy's underwriter. You or your advisor can reach out to them at any time with questions or concerns, or to provide key information that could help your plan.
Roundstone underwrites all its policies in-house. You always have access to your policy's underwriter -- and that brings many advantages.

A Captive Is a Self-Funding Lifeline for Some Employers
Employers are grappling with healthcare inflation. In 2024, healthcare premiums are projected to increase 8.5%, with employers spending nearly $15,000 per employee, according to Aon.
A new article in Employee Benefits News explores why self-funding provides employers a critical lifeline. Employers can lower costs and improve care quality, in exchange for a greater share of the risk. Yet most small to midsize employers can't afford the risk to self-fund on their own.
Fortunately, a captive opens the door to small and midsize companies to self-insure their benefits safely. They pool their risk and can self-fund with the confidence of a Fortune 500 -- even if they only have 25 employees.
