Roundtables: More than just a Circular Table...

Often I get told onsite at our events that the Participants didn't really know what to expect from this format. Usually, they have attended larger events, such as conferences or smaller internal offsite meetings; but never an externally organised Roundtable.

I thought I'd write a piece about what our Roundtables are designed to do, how we do it, and the experiences some of our favourite executives have had at them.

Why should I attend a Roundtable?

Roundtables are great for condensing a lot into a little amount of time. I have been told by some of my attendees they have covered months worth of questions and content in just three hours, which is the most amazing music to my ears!

This format is also super for networking in an intimate setting allowing for REAL connections to be made with top Senior Executives. Due to the nature of these roundtables, we often attract executives who aren't usually able to attend other networking type events - making for a great opportunity to meet someone new.

Most of our events take place either as Breakfasts or Dinners so do not take you away from the office during work hours, meaning your busy schedule is not disrupted.

So what do they look like?

Our standard evening Roundtables go something like this...

Once you arrive at your event's venue, you will be greeted by one of our dedicated team, and directed to the private meeting space where you can connect with your fellow guests. You will then be able to enjoy 30 minutes of networking and welcome drinks with fellow participants. This is a great time to break the ice and learn a little more about the people in the room.

The roundtable evening will commence after the networking, where you will be able to discuss your most pivotal challenges and critical opportunities with industry thought leaders in a structured manner. Each course will present a key question to be discussed!

Once the discussion is underway, you will receive a gourmet 3-course dinner, as well as accompanying drinks. Roundtable's allows you to enjoy great food while benefiting from the shared experiences of industry leaders. The roundtable will close following the end of the meal, however, we welcome you to stay for as long as your schedule allows to continue the conversation - again, this is another fantastic opportunity to continue networking.
