Round-Up For RMHC

Since the Round-Up for RMHC program started in 2019, it has grown to collectively raise over $39 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities across the nation.

Here in St. Louis, we are blown away by the community’s continued support to participate in the giving program at McDonald’s simply bysaying “yes” to rounding up for guest families. In 2023 alone, our community raised $3.1 million at their local McDonald’s – that’s awesome!

Only through the support of our local owner/operators, mid-managers, and crew members will the momentum continue for the co-op of Metro St. Louis. Three local franchise owners hit the astonishing milestone of raising over $1 million through their business since the program’s inception five years ago, and two more operators will reach the milestone in early 2024.

As fundraising leaders of the nation, the local co-op issued a Round-Up Challenge to the McDonald’s field office to inspire other regions to give. The field office, or larger group that St. Louis is part of, includes stores from Missouri to Tennessee. Together the larger region raised $10 million for the charity in 2023.

There are no words to truly describe how grateful we are for the hundreds of thousands of times the question, “Would you like to Round-Up for RMHC?” is asked. We are even more grateful for all those folks who say, “Yes!” As our community continues to lead the nation in this fundraising program, we are so proud to call St. Louis our home.

The next time you are under the golden arches to order a large fry, cheese burger, or seasonal Shamrock Shake, remember to Round-Up for RMHC. That small change will make a huge difference in the lives of seriously ill children and their families seeking medical treatment in our city.
