The State of AI & Web3 in 2023 ??

Artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3 technologies are both rapidly advancing fields with the potential to revolutionise various industries. NFT's ditched by Meta ???

According to a Twitter thread by Meta's commerce and fintech lead, Stephane Kasriel, the company is scaling back its involvement with NFTs on Facebook and Instagram. Meta will discontinue its experimentation with creating and vending NFTs on Instagram, as well as the capability to distribute NFTs on both platforms in the upcoming weeks. Rather than pursuing NFTs, Meta is concentrating on expanding its impact on a larger scale in areas such as improving Meta Pay and enhancing messaging and monetization on Reels.

GPT-4 ??

OpenAI has released the latest version of the brains behind ChatGPT, GPT-4, which can respond to images and process up to 25,000 words. Millions of people have already made use of ChatGPT for various tasks, such as writing copy, answering questions and creating code. GPT-4 has advanced reasoning skills, but still has the possibility of sharing disinformation or making errors. It will initially be available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers and is already being utilised by Microsoft's Bing search engine. OpenAI has also partnered with language learning app, Duolingo, and Be My Eyes to create new AI chatbots.?

Volkswagen's New ID.2All

Volkswagen has introduced its latest electric vehicle, the ID. 2all, which is aimed at the mass market and comes with a starting price of 25,000 euros ($26,600) and a range of 450 kilometers (279 miles). The electric hatchback, which resembles the Golf, was revealed during an investor event in Germany and is expected to be put into production in 2025. VW plans to invest 180 billion euros ($193 billion) over the next five years in areas such as battery production and raw materials in order to cut EV production costs and increase market share.?

Microsoft 365 Copilot

Microsoft has announced that it will incorporate the technology underpinning ChatGPT, the popular artificial intelligence software, into its widely used work suite, Microsoft 365. The new offering, called Co-pilot, will be seamlessly integrated into programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Co-pilot is expected to revolutionize work processes, according to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, although the company acknowledges that it may occasionally make errors. Co-pilot has several functions, including summarizing conversations conducted on Teams, drafting emails, creating PowerPoint presentations, and analysing long email threads and documents.
