Marvel Studios just unveiled a new look at the first film of Phase 5, 'Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania' and it looks like we're in for a wild ride for the third instalment of the 'Ant-Man' franchise. The trailer opens with Kang (Jonathan Majors) telling Scott (Paul Rudd) everything he knows about him. Kang wants Scott's help and in exchange will give him the one thing that he wants - time with his daughter that he missed...

The first UK rocket launch...nearly

A modified Virgin Boeing 747 with a 21-metre rocket attached to its wing was set toe take off from Newquay earlier this week, in a historic moment for the UK’s first spaceport. It was to be the first orbital launch from UK soil - or anywhere in western Europe - and came after technical issues pushed it back from before Christmas.

"Space launch is a very serious business and we'll be looking at integrating all the information about the system, about the weather, about the range,"?

said Virgin Orbit boss Dan Hart.?

However, it wasn't to be. The rocket ignited and appeared to be ascending correctly. But word then came from the company that the rocket had suffered an "anomaly". The satellites it was carrying could not be released and were lost. Cosmic Girl, the 747 carrier jet, returned safely to base.?

The Mac goes touchscreen...?

In what seems to be a major U-turn, Apple is set to bring touchscreens to MacBook models, including the MacBook Pro, by 2025, also featuring an OLED screen. This report comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who stated Apple engineers are "actively engaged in the project," indicating that the company is "seriously considering" producing touchscreen Macs. The first MacBook Pro with a touchscreen would retain a traditional laptop design with a trackpad and a keyboard, but the display would gain support for touch input like an iPhone or iPad.

The Traitors US goes to iPlayer

The US version of the BBC smash-hit, ‘The Traitors’, has been aqquired by the BBC and is set to drop the whole series on their streaming platform, BBC iPlayer, tomorrow, Friday 13th?January. It will also be shown on both BBC One and BBC Three over the next five weeks. Differing from the UK series, which has been streamed more than 28 million times, it features celebrities as well as everyday Americans in the game. The US version is hosted by Alan Cumming instead of Claudia Winkleman, however it is set in the same Scottish Highlands Castle location as the UK version.
