Round up 10 April
Refugee Support Europe
We want a world where all refugees can lead their lives with dignity
We hope that you all had a lovely break over the long weekend wherever you are. This week we share news of how we've been helping in Türkiye, how the Dignity Centre is supporting members in Cyprus and Refugee Support turns 7!
How We're Helping in Türkiye
Since we arrived in Türkiye our wonderful team has been working hard to deliver essential items to those most affected by the earthquake. In the first 3 weeks of our distribution we reached over 7,000 people and distributed 1,750 bags with essential hygiene items!
We have now also started distributing essential food items such as drinking water, sugar, tea and coffee.
If you're curious to find out more, one of our amazing volunteers, Marko, has made a video highlighting what and how we are distributing essential items in Türkiye. If you're interested in meeting some of the brilliant team, seeing what the conditions are like and how we're getting on then do check out his video available here on via our YouTube channel.
Place of Welcome in Cyprus
Over at our Dignity Centre in Nicosia, Cyprus, it's not just about the Dignity Market and help with paperwork, our Dignity Centre is also a place of welcome!

In addition to providing support in getting employment, a weekly ‘free shop’ at the Dignity Market and barbering services every Friday, the Dignity Centre also provides a welcoming space for members.
We need volunteers to continue serving refugees and asylum seekers in Nicosia. It is deeply rewarding work!?Find out more and apply to volunteer via our website.
Refugee Support Turns 7!
Last week marked 7 years since our co-founders Paul and John (pictured) started Refugee Support. Since then we have worked in 6 countries and served more than 50,000 refugees and asylum seekers with dignity.
We are grateful for all the amazing support we have and continue to receive from people all over the world. Your support is crucial to what we do and enables us to continue to support our members with solidarity and dignity at our Dignity Centres in Cyprus, Moldova and those most affected by the earthquake in Türkiye.
