Are You Ready for A Wild, Turbulent and Prosperous 2022?

About a week ago, I was with a group of entrepreneurs, and a question was asked of me.
What are you going to or are doing different this year to increase net operating income and generate strong revenues?
Now these entrepreneurs have good teams, they offer great products and services, and they all are doing OK. They have got some pressure on profits, and they know that competition is here and more is coming, their markets are changing, and so is the buying habits of their customers. And their employees are a bit concerned about their long term prospects. Some of the entrepreneurs said, We know we have another speed-gear, but we just haven't shifted to it yet. Any ideas for us?
Here's the encouragement that I shared. I hope you find it helpful.
I believe it starts by going back to the VISION. The WHY. Why are you here, and where do you want to and what actions must be taken to get there?
Where is your ROADMAP. That document that help's you see and get to the mile markers (goals), those things that get you closer to your VISION? Consider the following: The exercise on the way to the planning. The developing and making of your ROADMAP.
Get Fresh Thinking-Is there a better way to make things happen? If so what are those ways?

Evaluating- Be future focused. Do you have a 30 day, a 90 day and a 120 day plan? Is it written out? Are you seeking out the information and evaluating what you and your team have found in terms of a course heading which will move you all forward?
Look at Your Current Structure- What might not be or is no longer an important goal or destination? Take it off your list. Find and stay focused on what's important. What is the WHY? What is YOUR WHY?
Organize your time around the TOP priorities. The 3 to 5 priorities to start the planning. You can then build on them.
Engineering- Map out the steps, is there a particular tasks that can be done smarter? Think of ways of doing work smarter.
Keep asking yourself, “If I were not doing it this way and knowing what I know now, would I start it up again this way?”
Take Back Control- Accept responsibility for your life. Don't be the victim. Take Action that is measurable- Make things happen versus letting things happen.
The wrap up:
Consider this: If you don't like the results you are getting, understand your results are caused by your actions, and your actions are the results of your behaviors. Take some time to look at your mind set and decide if that needs a course correction. Advisory: choppy waters ahead. A calm sea never made a skilled sailor.
