Rosti continues to support local students in need for educational development

As an enterprise, it is always very key to take corporate social responsibilities within the society. This year is the 20th anniversary of Rosti China in Suzhou, thanks to support of the employees, local government as well as local community, our company is developing into a 1.2BRMB annual sales organization, with 123 injection moulding machines and 1000 employees in our 25,000㎡ factory.

Suzhou Children's Foundation was built in 1982, focusing on helping students on their education and now it organizing various themes of activities to help children physically and mentally.

Rosti China started to cooperate with Suzhou Children's Foundation since 2004 and continues to do so. This year we are very happy and proud to know that two of the students that we have been supporting since 2015 both achieved great in their higher-grade exams. Yuehan and Ziyuan are sister and brother. Although their family is not well off, they have been very positive and studied very hard and well. Yuehan is admitted to Suzhou University of Science and Technology with an excellent score of 558. Ziyuan is admitted to NO. 3 High School of SIP with an excellent score of 640.

In order to encourage them on their excellent scores, they were invited to visit Rosti on Aug 20th. Our SVP Pat Williams, Plant Manager Jeffery Zhang, HRD Sally Yaw and some other employee representatives warmly welcomed them. We took them on a tour on site and give them gifts and donations. Ms. Xu Ying, director of Suzhou Children's Foundation, expressed her gratitude to Rosti on behalf of the foundation.

Up to now , 5 of the 14 students we supported will enter the next stage of their education. However, their family couldn’t support the burden of the fee, so we decided to continue to support the students with a total donation of 39,500 RMB. We hope that we can help & support more local children in the future.
