Reflecting on his formative years at Rockwell from 1983 to 1988, Ross eloquently highlighted enduring friendships and transformative experiences. From cherished moments with lifelong friends to remarkable achievements like conquering the Canoeing Ireland Liffey Descent, Ross embodies the essence of the Rockwell spirit.?

During his address, Ross imparted invaluable wisdom to the current 6th-year students:?

1. Drawing inspiration from Ted Lasso, he urged them to embrace hope and believe in themselves,?and not forget the solid foundation provided to them by Rockwell College.?
2. Stressing the fleeting nature of time, he emphasised the importance of physical well-being and the profound impact of exercise on both body and mind.?
3. Ross shared a poignant reminder from the children's book "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse," encouraging students to focus on moving forward, especially in times of adversity: “I can't see a way through said the boy. Can you see your next step? Yes. Just take that said the horse.”?

Furthermore, Ross inspired current students and future generations of Rockwell graduates to maintain connections with friends and the College through the Rockwell College Union. He highlighted the upcoming centenary year of the Union in 2025, with exciting events planned.?
