Roskam podcast launch

I must admit, my wife and kids told me I should start a podcast when I left Congress.? I liked the idea but could not settle on a format.

Until now.

We’re all products of our own experience and mine was formative.? I’ve been interviewed hundreds of times over the years.? Regardless of how tough the questions were, I appreciated the opportunity to express a complete answer.? I recall one cable tv interview disintegrating into a staccato exchange which did nothing to inform the viewers.? By contrast, the late Gwen Ifill of PBS allowed me to speak in paragraphs. What a concept! ?Her questions were no less probative and her audience learned more.

So that’s the animating spirit behind The Cloakroom with Peter Roskam.? I’m taking you inside Congress, to listen in on my conversations with Members from both sides of the aisle.?
