Rose Health and ArizOTA Seminar: Accessible Home Modifications Across the Age-Span: Strategies for Success

First, we at Rose Health want to celebrate April as Occupational Therapy Month!

We’re grateful for the thousands of Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants who are on the frontlines serving patients and their care partners to enable communities to live as independently as possible.


In celebration Occupational Therapy Month, we’re elated to announce our first?hybrid?seminar on the value of home modifications across age groups. The seminar will be on Monday, April 17th at 6:30pm PST (in-person and virtual) in partnership with the?Arizona Occupational Therapy Association?(Heidi Ana Carpenter),?ArizOTA's Home Modification SIS (Emily Reilly, DHSc, MSOTR/L, ECHM), and?Oakwood Creative Care?(Monika Lukasiewicz).

The seminar is open to the public. The subject matter will be geared towards an audience of Occupational Therapists. In the seminar we will touch on various topic including:

  • New healthcare challenges of an aging society
  • The role of Occupational Therapy in value-based care
  • Overview on Medicare Advantage (Medicare Part-C)
  • Differences and similarities between HEDIS and OASIS measures
  • Highlight the existing home modification programs in Arizona

The seminar will be held at the Dementia Hub by Oakwood Creative Care, 6915 E Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85207.
