Rose Byrne

Rose Byrne

Friends, Romans and countrymen, lend me your ears. I come here today to praise Rose Byrne, not to bury her. The good in Rose Byrne is embedded in her. She is noble. She is honorable. Why say this? Because, someone needs to just say it. Rose Byrne is a great actress but she never brags about it. Rose Byrne is a kind person but she never talks about it. Rose Byrne is grace and generosity. But she's private about this. Her relationship with Bobby Cannavale and their life as parents is proof of how she creates a loving and supportive home, even with a busy magnificent career. They moved back to Australia recently. Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi. They are living a life in the land down under instead of living a Hollywood life filled with fame, glory and, of course, absolute pretense.

I remember 2 negotiation experiences with Rose Byrne's agent. The agent was nice and gracious at all times. Not a surprise. Her client is the same. I remember 2 films I worked on with Rose Byrne. Everyone on the set loved her unconditionally and everyone respected her at all times. She just carries herself that way. She's down to earth and elegant at the same time. She is humble. A humble great actress. Is that even possible? Yes. It's Rose Byrne. She is gentle. She has a great sense of humor. She is intelligent. She emotes. She's a good mother. She goes trick or treating with Bobby and their 2 kids. She is playful. But always, she is a great actress. Always. No matter what the part, and no matter what the role. I'd call her a hidden gem but, at this point, she's not so hidden. We can admire her longstanding relationship with Bobby Cannavale (and we do admire it). It just feels like she's a good person and we all appreciate that so much. Thank you Rose, for all your great acting and thank you for showing us that a great actress can be a great person, a great mother, a great wife, a great mate, and a great Australian. Your parents knew you were a Rose from inception.
