The Rosario Inker Service Toe-in Table
The toe-in table is a new design to set the toe-in of the plate cylinder shaft at +0.01mm. By checking your own inker-stands you'll find that they often don't have the right accuracy to set a proper toe-in of the plate cylinder shaft. Also most can plants can`t check the pockets of their inker-stand as there is often no blueing bar available. This tool is optional.
The top-plate of the toe-in table is completely grinded so it meets the necessary accuracy. After the height of the left and right pocket is checked by a blueing bar and they are both the same height (=0.00mm height difference), the toe-in of the plate cylinder shaft can be set at exactly 0.01mm. In order to keep this accuracy the toe-in table is mounted on the floor by 16 bolts. It is advised to use the inker toe-in table only for checking-setting the toe-in of the plate cylinder shaft and. No assembly should be allowed on this table.
The toe-in table comes with a magnetic base holder and an indicator.
A blueing bar is a fixture that is used to check the alignment of a 6- or 8- color kit or a toe-in table alignment. It is very important to check the inker-stand pockets and the pockets of the 6- or 8-color frame. If the pockets of the inker-stand pockets don`t have the same height, it is impossible for the plate cylinder shaft to have the right toe-in. This is the same with the pockets of the 6- or 8-color frame. If the height of those pockets doesn't match with the blanket segment, the pressure between the blanket segment and plate cylinder shaft won't be within the specs.
