ON THE ROPES - 11 & 12/02/25

Day 2 and 3 of our graduation project are finally complete and they were the longest and shortest days we've had. 11 hours on the Tuesday and then just 6 hours on Wednesday.

1st AC Oliver Townsend

Tuesday was our pub and alley way shoot so that meant 3 actors and a very limited crew. We were filming at the golden Eagle pub who have been very happy for us to film at their location and we were fortunate enough to get the entire second bar to ourselves from 13:00-19:00. Our schedule was already tight to begin with but we got our time changed from 20:00 to 19:00 so we had to make some last minute decidions about what to prioritise and which shots could be done much quicker. The crew were very efficient and we wrapped at the pub just at 19:00.

Our actor, Seb, for our alley way scenes wasn't arriving until late so that did give everyone time to break, prepare for the next shoot and eat something before we continued.

Chris Agha as BILL

On Wednesday it was a much shorter shoot but we were only allowed to film in the Iconinc Gym until 15:00 with only up to 13:00 with privacy. So whilst there were less shots, I had to prepare the order and the timings in a lot more detail for myself so I could make sure we wrapped in good time but also got the best shots possible for our film.

Day 3

We had to have much less crew to cover as much as possible, but luckily our runner, Finn, was able to use the Sony for some BTS and EPK footage as we were filming. Our photographer, Chloe also took some publicity photos of Chris working out and catch some stills that we could use to promote our film.

We got variations and our versions of these shots using Cabanel's The Fallen Angel. Our director, Dom, got some shots for the film with this look from Chris so I wanted to have some stills in the same pose for our promo and poster variety.

Whilst these were two very tiring days we managed to cover everythiing we needed and we have become very excited for tomorrows shoot!

Dom and I stayed in the TV studio this evening to watch our boxing ring being built. Massive thank you tp Unibox boxing ring ltd for building this ring so efficiently and helping us crete this shoot.
