Root Intrusion
Root intrusion into a sewer line is a common & often serious problem. More often than not, when the tree root penetrates the pipe, there is a hole, crack, or some type of separation within its structure. Over the course of time, this tree root will travel within the sewer system & impact your system's ability to function properly. Another result of the root intrusion is a consolidation of moisture in the impacted area. Once that moisture begins to leak into the piping, it will attract more roots to the already defective region, & cause even more destruction to your system. The best way to avoid extensive root issues, is consistent, preventative maintenance - CCTV inspection of your sewer lines in conjunction with routine jetting. On the other hand, once the roots have infiltrated your system, jetting with a root cutter nozzle is essential to get your system back to optimal functionality.
