Today's employers and employees alike must come up with new strategies to identify the nature of the problem and solve them rapidly. This requires specific strategy of using root cause analysis for effective problem solving and taking corrective actions.

Root cause analysis approach embraces the principles of four inter-connected thinking process. They are situational thinking, critical thinking, creative thinking and systems thinking. By effectively and appropriately blending this process, it becomes possible to reframe an ill-defined problem so that a workable solution can be found.
