At List of Life, we like trying new things. That’s why, for our Christmas party, we decided to go curling, 8 floors above Stratford, at Roof East.

Curling, bowling’s wonderfully weird winter cousin, returned to Roof East this winter. From the people behind Rooftop Film Club – Sliders, London’s only rooftop curling club, rocked its way back to its sky-high residency at the beginning of November, featuring six neon-lit, synthetic ice curling lanes, accompanied by an ice-cool soundtrack.

Guests can also get toasty in the 80’s inspired après-ski lodge sipping hot cocktails (or mulled wine), before strolling a stone’s throw to the ice zone. Curling can be thirsty work so luckily there are hosts that are on hand to deliver drinks direct to the lanes!
