So excited to write this one!! As most know, the Reeva Impact team just returned from The Roofing Machine One Day Camp #roofcamp in Orlando, Florida, at the grand Rosen Centre Hotel!! I was so honored to see each of you there!! I could not believe the tremendous turnout, sold-out vendor spacing, enormous ENERGY, and VIP keynotes - seriously incredible!! I want to thank each of you personally, including all Reeva staff! #grateful So many notable companies showed up and loved seeing all the company logos!! Wow!
I hope everyone could take something home with them and apply it to their own companies to learn, adapt, improvise, and grow! "No man ever steps in the same river twice - the river never stops flowing and is always changing" Yes! Whether a small company just starting up, an entrepreneur still building their brand, or an at-large roofing empire, we all share this: we must all adapt and GO HARD!! So many things to learn! I learned so much at the event too!! Thank you Mark Anthony Godaire
Everyone was incredible, but this one Dashaun Bryant Roof Hustler quote really hits hard: "Million dollar dreams, $30,000 hustle." Let's tie that in with the river concept above and ask ourselves, are you really going as hard as you say you are? Inspirational. And I think we all know that at the end of the day, it really comes down to one thing: how bad do you want it? What are you willing to sacrifice to turn that dream into a reality?
Jealousy is earned. Let them sleep while you work. Let them take weekends off. If you are willing to sacrifice everything to make that dream a reality, I guarantee your competition will make winning easy for you. Too easy. Outwork, Outhustle, Outlearn the competition, and #DOMINATE ! Transform your mindset and turn that "Million dollar dream 30k hustle" into a 10 Million Dollar Dream, Million Dollar Hustle. #dreambig #bigdreams
I want to tell you a short story. In 2020, when I was the GM of our Monarch Roofing Monarch Roofing HHI office, our production team would meet daily at 6:30am (they still do!), and the office administrator at the time used to love playing a Jocko Willink Jocko Willink video on the Greek legend of Sisyphus. Sisyphus was cursed to push a boulder up a hill for all of time, eternity actually. In the video, Jocko hints that the only reason this is considered "a curse" is because Sisyphus hated the grind. How true is that! How often do we unconsciously apply that to our own lives? We look at something as a curse because we don't feel like grinding. Instead, our mindset should be this: Embrace the grind. Go HARD. Transform your mindset to LOVE pushing that boulder. Make that boulder your ONE THING. And the best part of the video and the biggest takeaway was this: Love the grind so much that when you get to the top, you will want to roll it back down just so that you can start pushing it up again! Mind-blowing.

The same concept as the river, too - embrace rowing against the current. Don't get used to floating on the current; get accustomed to rowing AGAINST the current. Your competition loves the current. It is going against the current, however, that will teach us how to develop our mindset, company, and life. This is how we win! A lot of improvising, changing, and adapting to new structures and processes will take place to shape your company and mindset with the Reevalution model but know for sure if you embrace the grind, you will always win!
Can't wait for the next event!
