Happy Wednesday,
How are you?
I and my team are in the middle of an extremely busy season these days.
We're launching two FREE online events -- one for aspiring speakers and another for aspiring authors in the next few days and you're invited! :)
I'll tell you more about event 1 later.
I've been enjoying my stay here in the province.
Being in nature is just so beautiful.
I also volunteered to cook for my family every Wednesday dinner and Saturday lunch and dinner.
I love it! :)
Yesterday, my siblings and I had fun dancing in the balcony.
I have a brother who is two years younger than me and we have little siblings who are 20+ years younger than us. Hahaha!
The funny thing is, we get to connect really well. We laugh a lot!
Life is not all roses though.
For one, our internet connection here in the province has been down for 4 weeks now,
so working from home has been pretty challenging.
There were so many times I wanted to cry because I couldn't even send a simple Viber message to my team.
My brother and I have been calling the Customer Service of our internet provider (a four-letter company),
and they keep saying they'll give us feedback within 24-48 hours. Nothing happened so far.
It's so frustrating to be on the phone for 30 minutes to 45 minutes (the "hold" time is probably 20-30 minutes) and listen to the same spiel over and over again. What a waste of time!?
If you happen to know anyone who works for this 4-letter telco company who can help us, kindly email me. Thank you!
I always choose to see things through the lens of gratitude, but I also give myself space to feel all my emotions.
If you are experiencing some uncomfortable emotions right now, it's okay.
Feel your emotions and be kind to yourself.
You don't need to force yourself to be happy right away.
For the most part, I can say I am very happy and at peace with my life right now.
This is the happiest I have been in my life! :)
I'm amazed how my happiness is no longer dependent on circumstances.
I never imagined I can be this happy, even if I'm still single! Hahaha!
And yes, I am happy even in the midst of this frustrating internet situation.
Maybe it's because I have allowed myself to feel all my emotions? Maybe.
Maybe it's because as I mature, I am learning not to put conditions on my happiness.
I am learning to let myself and other people be.
I still am so imperfect on this, and I love my journey!
Speaking of journey, I'd love to journey with you and invite you to go on a virtual date with me and 30+ other speakers this Saturday! :)
Save the date! July 24, 2021 (Saturday) 2PM - 6PM PH/SG time
Andrew Matthews?will be there. His books have sold over 7 million copies and have been translated into more than 43 languages.
My friends, global speakers Coen Tan from Singapore, Srijata Bhatnagar from India, Mike Grogan (originally from Ireland), and Kat Aristorenas will be there as well.
Plus, meet the graduates of The 90-Day Speak to Thrive Challenge as they share their message.
Here's the official poster.
