Roleplay
A common piece of career advice that I’ve received from professionals I respect is to perform the role you want to be in.?
If you want to be in a more senior role resolve to adopt the responsibility and rigor you’d expect to have as if you were already in the role.?
If you want to be a leader, resolve to adopt the kind of forward-thinking, succinct-communication qualities you would be expected to have as if you were already a leader.?
So much of becoming the part?—?whether it’s in the professional realm or in your personal life?—?is choosing to play it first.?
