Point 1 keep you best tyres on the back wheels, not the front wheels. A flat on the front is controllable but losing the back end spells disaster. Point 2. Do not rotate your tyres! Tyres wear more while bedding-in than when they have already bedded in. Also, any problem with alignment etc will be more visible if the tyres are not rotated. Point3. Tyre pressure affects wear. A large proportion of wear is from the tread spreading sideways when it meest the road. If the tyre pressure is not right the spread increases, affecting wear.
