On a chilly Wednesday morning, as I laced up my walking shoes, a realization hit me: the days I started with a brisk walk at the park were often my most productive and clear-headed. This observation led me to explore deeper the connection between physical fitness and mental clarity, especially as an entrepreneur who struggles with a mental illness.

Like many entrepreneurs, I used to think I couldn’t afford to ‘waste’ time on exercise. Deadlines and workloads always seemed more pressing. However, when I grudgingly started to incorporate fitness into my routine, the changes were palpable. Not only did I have more energy, but my concentration improved, and decisions became more straightforward.

Research corroborates my experience, showing that physical activity boosts brain function. Exercise increases blood flow to the brain, which enhances cognitive abilities and reduces stress hormones. 100% agree with you - usually people see it as a way to lose weight, which isn't right as you only burn 5% of your calories while exercising. But by exercising, it gives you confidence because it's something that you can control, then it provides stress realease and like you said - mental clarity. Sometimes, like reading, you get the best business ideas (or any ideas) while exercising! Thanks for sharing :)
