The Role of Confidence

The Role of Confidence

Thinking how can I help my child grow in self- belief and confidence? Join us for 100% British Experience and the chance for your child to follow their own interests in the beautiful, private and safe Prince Bishop International Summer School by the beach.

The famous psychologist , Albert Bandura said, "Self-belief does not necessarily ensure success, but self-disbelief assuredly spawns failure."

We are specialists in enhancing your life experience -opening up new skills, new career paths and most importantly growing in confidence . Like Katy Perry said,

“If you’re presenting yourself with confidence , you can pull off pretty much anything.”

?

Children build confidence in a number of ways: taking risks; experiencing new things and encouraging interests as well as modelling that confidence. Who better to model confidence than our extensive range of experts in their field? Your child can learn from the best alongside their peers. So, enjoy that full day engineering workshop at University and relish in the fiction workshop from published author and Durham University professor, David Waugh.

With confidence, your child can afford to take risks- making mistakes and not always knowing the right answer to a question or the right course of action. Within their safe space and encouraged by qualified staff and their peers, hey begin to trust themselves and then children thrive. Once they start, they'll never stop . The memory of making it work and having a go sticks and snowballs into maturity.

Why not use our Volunteering pathway to broaden your child’s experience and boost that all-important University personal statement? Think about the diverse quality of performing a play with international students, in English, whilst training with a professional Theatre company on our Theatre pathway. What an experience to perform in the outdoor theatre ! When we have tried new things and met new friends we can gain so much more than qualifications - we gain a new perspective on life and on ourselves!

Don’t just take it from me – look at all of the other pathways your child can follow on our website and in our brochure.

As evening schedules go , ours is brimming with great new experiences and all of them are used to practise higher level English learning and conversation. Try Dungeons and Dragons Club(DnD) or evade capture in Hunted. But will your teen try these new activities? Yes! Once they see how much fun their friends are having , they’ll definitely want to have a go. And you’ll see the benefit when they return home with a whole list of new interests and maybe they’ll find that career direction. Because as they say , “If you can’t see it, you can’t be it!”
