As per the recent poll conducted on my Linkedin profile 46 percent of the people were aware that Business owner should take responsibility himself & also take the help of a person who is a good leader, people follow him, who understands the pain of the team can play the role of CRM Admin.

Let’s understand in detail what exactly a Business owner should do in practice & what he should assign to CRM Admin for successful CRM Implementation

Responsibilities of Business owner

  • Getting the CRM ready based on the business requirement
  • Take training of CRM with the team.
  • Spend at least 20 min on the CRM dashboard to analyze the health of the business.
  • Ask admin to get the overdue clear, if any.
  • Once in a week conduct review meetings & analyze the sales reports in the meeting.
  • Check the validity of data being entered in CRM

Responsibilities of CRM Admin

  • Role of Admin is much more than Business owner
  • His role includes the responsibilities of Business owner plus to become a point of contact between salespeople & business owner.
  • He also works as a coordinating point between CRM Vendors & Business owner.

I have seen Business owners complaining to vendors that still CRM is not implemented completely & shocking thing in such a scenario is observed that the business owner never spent time himself to get trained.

It is these two pillars that must be strong & drive the CRM implementation journey. ?
