In the context of the Future of onboarding: using AI in an HR Metaverse will increase human connection. As it is in many cases HR is swamped with paperwork and other tasks and does not have the time to onboard properly. Sure they could request more manpower. However, that is costly and requires training, they don't have the skills for all of the onboarding and so need a leader or mentor from their silo to help them get up to speed. The leader or mentor is usually missing aspects of onboarding and so things fall for the cracks between multiple people involved in onboarding with lots of repetition and stuff missed, All of this results in poor human connection instead of trying to remember loads of new information. The time of the new employee would be better spent with these people in creating real human connections if only there was a better way to get up to speed with the knowledge and skills needed. This is what AI in an HR Metaverse does it frees up staff to connect properly with the new employee while at the same time the new employee is able to get up to speed effectively with the best training and support.

That was a good post!! I have done this for an onboarding GIG economy company called SWIGGY here in Bangalore in VR ..exactly on the same concept. But it was way ahead of its time in 2020....delivery was a challenge because of prohibitive cost of Oculas..development tools/maintaining the content was very challenging and expensive....while I delivered the solution, it wasnt implemented. Hope these sort of solutions are accepted now. It was a trip down my most exciting times. Thanks
