The real question is: Is influencer marketing right for your brand, and what should you expect from it?
The short of it? Leveraging influencers is GREAT for brand awareness. It's great to get access to audiences that you normally don't have access to.
But if ROI is what you're looking for? Keep on looking. Because there's an excellent chance that you WON'T get ROI on the dollars you spend to engage with an influencer for your brand.
Is there still value in an influencer partnership? Absolutely! But it will come in other forms -- not immediate return on your spend.
