Roger One Induction Loop Demonstration
Introduction to the Roger One Induction Loop
RF One Pack Portable Induction Loop
I'm here with Vin Maher and I'm just demonstrating to him our RF One Pack portable induction loop system.
So Vin, with the pack you're supplied with a Roger pen, a Roger My link, a set of headphones, a charging dock for your pen, and you'll also get a charging port for your My link as well.
It's really simple to use.
You take it out of the box.
You press the connect button on the Roger pen.
Switch the unit on on the My link, and wait for the light to flash.
Once that's done, that's that for that unit.
Expandable And Scalable Solution
Now, if you have multiple of these, because we do an RF, we do a one pack, a two pack, a three pack, a four pack, and a five pack, and so on and so on.
So, you do exactly the same by pairing the pen with all the other corresponding My links that you need to.
So, if you are a hearing aid user, this is the neck loop.
You will put the unit over your head.
If you can pop that over your head for me Vin.
And as a hearing aid user, you would simply put your hearing aid to T and that would tune into that.
However, obviously you're not a hearing aid user.
If you were to put the bottom of the unit.
At the bottom of the unit, if you plug the headsets in there and place that over your head, and I start talking to this now, you should be able to hear me fine.
Yeah.
A Directional Microphone
Obviously with the pen in this particular position it becomes a directional microphone, which is great for if you were a teacher or you're a presenter, presentation, or for example if you're doing bingo calling in a nursing home for example.
Moving on from that.
An Omni Directional Microphone
If you have group discussion work, or group events, or you're around a boardroom table, you can simply lay the unit onto its side and it becomes an omni directional microphone.
That will now pick up my audio as I'm talking to you now, and it should still be the same if I stand up here, and from a bit further afield, you'd still be able to pick that up.
Additional to that, should the building and the room have a V system, it's already in place, or a television, you simply take the unit, place it into the docking station, push it down and then you have an audio input that can take your red and white audio feeds from either your television or your PA system, and then that will transfer straight onto your My link.
Simplistic, But Powerful & Flexible
It's how simple the Roger pen is.
Because the Roger pen is a portable system, it means it can be moved from location to location.
If you've got an office block or a hotel that's got multiple different function rooms, the pack can be moved from there.
It doesn't mean you have to have a fixed loop system installed in each of these environments, which therefore then reduces the cost of any form of installation, because there's no requirement for it.
In addition to that, there's no disruption.
So there's no downtime in rooms not being occupied, because obviously a fixed system has to be installed, it's going to be a reduction in that usage of that room allowed for a period of time.
The Roger system is a completely portable system and it can sometimes be the most cost effective for many businesses.
