?? Rockwell Automation Fair 2024 Recap ??

And that’s a wrap! RAF2024 is officially in the books, and I’d like to take a moment to reflect on this incredible event and share some thoughts.

First and foremost, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and to Rockwell Automation for hosting such a well-organized and impactful event. The energy, conversations, and connections were nothing short of inspiring.

Quality of Conversations

What truly stood out to me this year was the quality of interactions. A few years ago, our conversations at the booth felt more like missionary work—explaining who we are and what our companies do. But this year was different. Visitors came with purposeful curiosity, looking to understand how our solutions can solve their business challenges rather than simply asking about our products. This shift speaks volumes about the evolving market and the deeper value customers are seeking.

Innovation at the Forefront

It’s always rewarding to break old stigmas, like the notion of being “just a German company” in the U.S. market. Visitors at our booth were thrilled to see that we’re listening to their needs and delivering innovative solutions tailored to this market.

A few highlights from this year’s booth:

  • The Rittal Nema 4X Stainless Steel Double Door Enclosure generated significant buzz.
  • Our new Wire Delivery System, which panel builders saw live in action, demonstrates how it can reduce wiring time with just-in-time wire creation.

Seeing the excitement and enthusiasm around these products reaffirmed that we’re on the right track—bringing solutions that truly matter to our customers.

The Power of Networks

The importance of professional networks can’t be overstated, and once again, this year’s fair highlighted their value. A big shoutout to Eli Jenkins and Mitchell Lawrence for the outstanding work they’re doing to nurture and grow our Distributor Network. Their efforts ensured constant traffic at our booth and meaningful customer interactions, both during the fair and the accompanying side events.

Visibility and Engagement

Related to networks is visibility, and I’m so grateful for how well our team was represented this year. From the Value Chain Team, fully staffed and actively engaging at the booth, to Partner Events and interviews, we made sure to bring our best.

Special mention to Brian Jung and myself for the opportunities we had to participate in interviews and sessions during the fair, and a memorable episode of Manufacturing Happy Hour with Chris Luecke over a beer. Cheers to that! ??

Gratitude for the Experience

This year’s Rockwell Automation Fair was truly a special experience, filled with genuine and positive impressions. I’m incredibly thankful to have been part of this event and to have had the opportunity to showcase what we can bring to the table.

Ultimately, we gave visitors the chance to compare apples with apples as they gear up for a successful 2025. Here’s to continued growth, collaboration, and innovation!

I loved seeing all the channel customers brought to the booth from our channel network! They worked hard to generate interest prior to this event and it paid off! A very busy week for Eplan but it was very successful. Always a pleasure to work with everyone collectively in the booth and through additional events in the evenings. Thanks for posting Kruno Kutnohorski.
