Rockport Travel Guide
Rockport, Massachusetts is one of those towns locals know to visit. Even when busy, Rockport never seems crowded and defines picturesque coastal New England. With locally owned small businesses ranging from glass sculptors, artists, and of course restaurants, you will feel good about visiting and supporting this town.
The Addison Choate Hotel — is walking distance to all of the best spots in Rockport, and the rooms they offer will give you plenty options from which to choose.
The?Addison Choate ?Boutique Hotel is exceptional. This 1851 property, recently renovated in 2019, is locally owned and offers a variety of options for your stay. My visit included a stay at their “The Dog Watch” suite, a spacious two-floor suite with a private entrance and porch swing. While everything in town is walking distance by my standards, there are bike rentals on property to get around town if you are so inclined.?For All Photos CLICK HERE ?Full Video HERE
Bear Skin Neck Rockport ?— is a road that leads from downtown straight out to the water, with tons of shops and a great spot for enjoying the ocean.?Full Video HERE
Roy Moore Lobster Co. ?— two spots, the first is a Lobster Shack with a walk up window half way down Bearskin Neck, and the other is a great sit down spot with a larger menu in great views of the ocean.
