Rocking 2024 Like a Superhero

Happy New Year! (As a friend said to me, "How long can we say that?")

The annual changing of the last digits of the date harkens a bevy of reactions, from ho-hum to extremely dramatic, depending upon the source.

I am intrigued by the surveys of business forecasters who look into their crystal balls and tell us what we need to be worried about.

Here are just some of my thoughts on how to not just survive, but thrive, in 2024. (It could take several books to capture all my thoughts!)

Bridging the Generational Divide

My grandmorther was a vivacious, bubbly outgoing woman. In her later years, she taught me, "Make younger friends."

I have listened to her advice ever since. I have so much respect for the bright, younger people I have talked to in the last few months. Their goals and assets, however, come across as liabilities to many employers.
