?World Heart Day aims to unite individuals and organizations in a global effort to combat heart disease and stroke. This day was established to raise awareness of heart conditions and the measures we can all take to prevent them, underscoring the fact that cardiovascular diseases claim over 18 million lives each year, and highlights the need for sustained global initiatives to reduce this burden in rare and more prevalent cardiac diseases.??

Rocket is dedicated to raising awareness of genetic testing programs that can shorten the diagnostic journey and reduce the mental and emotional toll that many patients and their families endure.?The lack of widespread early and accurate testing creates inequity and blocks proper care, ultimately hindering access to participating in clinical or natural history studies.??

Consistent with our commitments, we have engaged in ongoing partnerships with some of today’s leading minds in genetic testing. Rocket sponsors the most widely used cardiomyopathy and arrhythmia genetic test available in the U.S. and is a founding member of the BeginNGS? consortium, partnering with Rady Children’s Institute for Genomic Medicine to drive early diagnosis of rare genetic diseases by facilitating newborn screenings.??
