Rock Bottom - My Turning Point

7/8 years ago, I hit rock bottom. 

I woke up every morning, got showered, called in sick, took my blanket and just sat under the tree in front of my house. I didn’t eat. Didn’t call my friends. I did nothing and said nothing for days.

I had hit a brick wall and all I could do was lay on my blanket and try stay out of the sun.

What happened?

In the years leading up to the “under the tree days” I got used to doing what I had been told, doing the work that was put in front of me and following the paths that people pointed to me. I wasn’t in charge or in control of my life, my bosses were in charge, not me.

Then, all of a sudden, the situation changed and I was left to my own devices. It was my time to create my own opportunities and take charge of my life but I had NO CLUE what to do and where to start.

I was so paralyzed that I found myself under a tree, day in and day out, doing nothing but counting clouds.

How do you take control?

You have to realize that you create the success that you want to see in your life!

Success lies in use, if you want success then you have that find that success in you first!

You have to believe in your success and then act on that success.

But where do you start?

Firstly, You have to make a decision to act. You have to make a decision to take charge and something happen for yourself. Stop being a passenger in you’re life. Start moving and God will bless your movement!

Second, develop positive habits that will move you forward. Your habits will help you build a strong individual that you can take to the world.

Third, identify and package your value and use that value to create your success. Your value can change you’re life, it can help you build the success that you deserve in your life!
