??? Rochelle’s Creative Process
We had the pleasure to chat with Rochelle about how she approached the Dash rebranding. Her insights give us a glimpse into the thought process behind the fresh new look.
Q: What was your vision for Dash 2024’s new brand identity?
R: "I’ve been a long-time observer of Dash's brand and I knew it was time to rework it in a way that hadn’t been done before. My goal was to create something modern and elegant, but still playful and approachable. It was important that the brand speaks to our diverse audiences while staying true to Dash’s core values."?
Q: What inspired you during the rebranding?
R: "Inspiration was everywhere! From Pinterest and Behance to fashion content and even people-watching, I wanted to find ways to make Dash's message stand out while staying relatable. Dash is about creativity and innovation, so it was important that our visual identity communicated that."
Rochelle also mentioned the importance of the Dash team's feedback throughout the process, which helped her refine the design as she played around with different concepts.
?? The Process: From Ideas to Reality
Rebranding is rarely straightforward. Rochelle talked us through the trial-and-error phase, where she tested different ideas and concepts. "It’s never a one-shot process," she said, "I had to play around, test, and refine the design through discussions with the team. Each iteration brought us closer to the look that truly embodies Dash."
In the end, the result is a brand that feels modern, elegant, playful, and approachable—a perfect blend of Rochelle's vision and Dash's values.
